About Tualatin Presbyterian Church
Serving God as a family of faith is what this church is all about.
Started twenty three years ago, God continues to fill Tualatin Presbyterian
Church with the vitality and creativity of a young congregation, but the Spirit
also blesses TPC with the stability and maturity that have come from worshipping
and serving together over time. Like any family, this congregation gathers
in people who don't always agree on every little thing, and like many families,
this one remembers that at the end of the day there's always room at the table
for whoever is looking for a place.
Mission Statement
Tualatin Presbyterian Church is a family of faith called by God to
worship, serve and love. As part of
the Universal Body of Christ, we seek to better our community and ourselves by
living the teachings of Jesus Christ.
About Presbyterianism
The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) has
approximately 2.4 million members, 11,100 congregations and 14,000 ordained and
active ministers. Presbyterians trace their history to the 16th century and the
Protestant Reformation. Our heritage, and much of what we believe, began with
the French theologian John Calvin (1509-1564), whose writings crystallized much of
the Reformed thinking that came before him. For
